So we landed this morning after no sleep for me on the flight (Roy did get a little because he was snoring)! We had a driver who was looking at the GPS, taking on the phone, texting and driving at the same time. We got here at our small hotel :

and then we headed out to keep ourselves awake to get on local tome. We visited several piazzas, the Pantheon, had lunch, walked over to Victor Emmanuel’s monument, took a snooze, then out for drinks, dinner, and an after dinner drink. It’s now 11 pm here, 5pm east coast time so I’ll post photos tomorrow!
